Relics are picked during a run, one per dungeon level, and they last
only for that run — they are not gear and they do not change your character sheet.
Which pool you are offered depends on what you have equipped, so this is what a run can
offer while Ice Cube is in your loadout.
Upgrade paths
Take one of these again and it improves. The steps are in the order they
come.
Frozen Bastion
IGrants nearby allies a small fortify shield.
IIAllies in the area gain 30% reduced physical damage taken.
IIIFortify shields are 30% stronger, and Ice Cube fires freezing ice spheres on cast.
Eternal Winter
I+1.5s freeze duration, but -30% damage.
II+30% area of effect.
IIICreates a frozen domain with extended duration that freezes all enemies inside.
Frostfire DoT→ FIRE
IConverts to fire damage. Enemies are chilled and burned. Ice Cube radius is reduced by 30%.
IIDeals 100% more damage.
IIIAfter 3 charges, unleash a delayed blastwave that damages and heavily knocks back nearby enemies.
Standalone
One-off relics with no upgrade path.
•Reduces cooldown by 20%, but damage is reduced by 20%.
•Hitting an enemy has a 10% chance to spawn a tremor.
•Reduces enemy cold resistance by 30%, but increases their fire resistance by 30%.
•Increases radius by 20%.
Plan around them
The planner reads your loadout and ranks which of these pools your gear
actually supports — a relic that converts your damage type is worth very little if
none of your gear scales it.
