Which attributes scale my abilities in Soulbound?

Every ability is scaled by exactly three of the five offensive attributes — Power, Precision, Will, Ferocity and Focus. Vitality scales no ability at all; it only provides health, health regeneration and elemental resistances.

Does Vitality increase damage in Soulbound?

No. Vitality appears in no ability’s scaling, so it adds no damage. It is still unavoidable on armour, which always rolls Vitality as its largest primary stat, so high health mostly signals a high item level rather than a damage trade-off.

What does item level mean in Soulbound?

An item’s level equals the sum of its primary attribute points. Item level is therefore a fixed attribute budget, and two items of the same level differ only in how that budget is split between Vitality and offensive attributes.

Do Soulbound stats have diminishing returns?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for percentage stats. They follow a saturating curve, so the first point of an attribute is worth several times the thirty-fourth. Flat stats such as maximum health and health regeneration stay linear and never saturate.
